www.mildaini.com_ 30 Perwakilan Indonesia Mengikuti Literasi Digital. Saya salah saru dari 30 orang terpilih tersebut. Rencananya, saya akan bertolak ke Jakarta dengan menggunakan pesawat Garuda. Untuk urusan Tiket dan Akomodasi, semuanya sudah diurus dan ditanggung oleh panitia.
Mengenal Literasi Digital
Secara umum yang dimaksud dengan literasi digital adalah kemampuan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), untuk menemukan, mengevaluasi, memanfaatkan, membuat dan mengomunikasikan konten/informasi , dengan kecepatan kognitif maupun teknikal. Literasi digital merupakan isu yang saat ini menjadi perhatian para pemangku kepentingan di Indonesia.
Hal ini diakibatkan angka penetrasi Internet di Indonesia yang semakin meningkat dan berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan penggunaan gawai/smartphone dan media sosial. Peningkatan ini tidak dibarengi dengan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang memadai. Indeks literasi global di Indonesia masih menempati peringkat 60 dari 61 negara. (CCSU, 2016).
Kesenjangan antara perkembangan TIK dengan kesiapan SDM membuat dunia digital Indonesia rentan terhadap serbuan konten negatif. Ancaman ini semakin meningkat seiring dengan situasi politik di Indonesia menjelang Pemilihan Presiden dan Pemilihan anggota legislatif di tahun 2019 ini, yang menjadi salah satu pemicu banyaknya hoaks dan ujaran kebencian di media sosial.
Untuk menekan dampak dari konten negatif tersebut, sekaligus mendorong terciptanya banyak konten positif di internet maka perlu keterlibatan dari berbagai pihak untuk dapat secara terus menerus mengedukasi masyarakat terkait literasi digital.
Oleh karena itu, ICT Watch bekerjasama dengan TikTok, dengan dukungan Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (KOMINFO) dan Gerakan Nasional Literasi Digital SIBERKREASI, menyelenggarakan kegiatan Training of Trainers “Digital Literacy for Internet Activists” yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas para pegiat informasi dengan kecakapan literasi digital sebagai bekal mereka dalam melakukan kegiatan edukasi terhadap masyarakat
Tujuan Kegiatan Literasi Digital
Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan TOT Literasi Digital ini adalah:
1. Membekali para penggiat teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di berbagai kota di Indonesia dengan pengetahuan (knowledge) dan kemampuan (skill) terkait literasi digital sehingga dapat mendistribusikannya kembali ke masyarakat
2. Terbentuknya jejaring edukator Literasi Digital di beberapa kota di Indonesia
3. Memperluas penggunaan aplikasi Tik Tok sebagai aplikasi kreatif untuk membangun konten kreatif di internet
4. Menyusun sebuah program kegiatan yang efektif, efisien dan terukur terkait dengan isu Literasi Digital
Tempat dan Waktu Pelaksanaan
Kegiatan Literasi Digital ini, akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22-23 Januari 2019. Bertempat di Hotel Akmani, Jl. KH Wahid Hasyim No 91 – Jakarta Pusat
Peserta Literasi Digital
Kegiatan ini akan diikuti oleh sekitar 30 peserta yang berasal dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia, Mereka berasal dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Selain itu mereka juga merupakan perwakilan dari beragam komunitas yang ada. Aktif di berbagai kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan, baik tingkat daerah sampai tingkat nasional.

Pembicara Pada Kegiatan Literasi Digital
Beberapa pembicara yang akan memberikan materi pada pelatihan ini antara lain:
1. Aribowo Sasmito: Co-Founder dan Head of Fact Checker Committee dari Masyarakat Anti Fitnah Indonesia (MAFINDO)
2. Dedy Permadi: Tenaga Ahli Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Bidang Kebijakan Digital, Ketua Umum GNLD Siberkreasi, Dosen Departemen Ilmu Hubungan Internasional - Fisipol Universitas Gajah Mada, dan Direktur Center for Digital Society (CfDS) UGM.
3. Dhyta Caturani: Digital Security Trainer dan Founder PurpleCode Collective.
4. Donny BU: Tenaga Ahli Menkominfo bidang Literasi Digital, Pendiri ICT Watch, Perwakilan Indonesia untuk IGF-PBB dan pengajar di beberapa Perguruan Tinggi.
5. Indriyatno Banyumurti: Koordinator Program ICT Watch, Wakil Ketua Umum Siberkreasi, Co-Founder Relawan TIK Indonesia dan Direktur PT. Chelonind Integrated

Literasi Digital menjadi salah satu isu nasional seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Menjadi tanggung jawab bersama dari berbagai pihak untuk dapat membantu meningkatkan tingkat literasi digital masyarakat.
Kegiatan TOT Literasi Digital ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu upaya di antara beragam upaya yang dilakukan berbagai pemangku kepentingan dalam meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat Indonesia
